Role Purpose
The Service Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming service requests, coordinating engineers, and ensuring that all customer issues are logged, tracked, and resolved in line with agreed service levels. The role plays a key part in supporting CBES operations during weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all incoming service requests (via phone, email, or system).
* Log calls accurately on the system and allocate jobs to engineers or contractors.
* Monitor open work orders to ensure timely progress and resolution.
* Liaise with engineers, customers, and subcontractors to provide updates and ensure smooth workflow.
* Escalate urgent or unresolved issues to the Service Desk Manager or Duty Manager.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a service desk, helpdesk, or coordination role (desirable but not essential).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
* Problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
