Location: Bradford / Hybrid Working (1-2 office a week) ** pending office move to Leeds (LS10) from summer 2026 **

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Analyst to join the Programme Management office at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Our Programme Management Office (PMO) is central to how we respond—ensuring we meet regulatory obligations and deliver value through robust planning, governance, and performance insight.
Where you fit in:
As our Lead Programme Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver and report on our regulatory commitments. You’ll take ownership of the data and insights that underpin our performance against Ofwat’s Price Control requirements, working closely with teams across the business to make sure progress is clearly tracked, accurately reported, and continuously improved. Your work will help us stay on course, spot opportunities to outperform, and ensure we meet our obligations throughout the AMP cycle.
10. Ownership of PC and PCD Performance Data: Take full ownership of Price Control Deliverable (PCD) performance data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting across the business.
11. ODI & PCD Outperformance Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive outperformance plan for Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs) and PCDs, collaborating with Capital Delivery Programme Managers (CDPMs), Tier 2 leads, and Asset Planning Managers.
12. Centralised Performance Tracking: Maintain a centralised tracker of regulatory performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), delivery milestones, and benefit realisation metrics.
13. Regulatory Reporting & Ofwat Returns: Produce regular progress reports and contribute to Ofwat regulatory submissions, ensuring alignment with PR24 expectations and AMP8 delivery goals.
14. Evidence Pack Coordination: Lead the coordination and production of evidence packs to support Ofwat returns and external audits, ensuring robust documentation of delivery progress.
15. Performance Plan Improvements: Drive continuous improvement of performance plans across the business, identifying opportunities for optimisation and enhanced delivery outcomes.
16. Internal Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Produce and maintain internal slide packs, delivering clear insights to senior leadership and regulatory teams.
17. Benefit Tracking & Insight: Monitor and report on benefits achieved through project progress, linking delivery outcomes to strategic objectives and customer value.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
18. Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements in the UK water industry.
19. Proactive, inquisitive, and resourceful—able to research and implement new approaches independently.
20. Highly numerate and be a data orientated person, with an eye for detail who understand the importance of accurate data.
21. Proven experience of using analytical software such as Power BI to a high level and have advanced Excel skills.
22. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
23. Effective organisational and time management skills.
24. You will be comfortable working in a team environment and confident of building effective working relationships.
