Join a Supportive Rural Secondary School as an ICT Teacher
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and forward-thinking ICT Teacher to work on a long-term basis at a welcoming and well-regarded rural secondary school located near Richmond, North Yorkshire. This full-time role begins in September 2025 and is expected to run for at least one academic term, with the potential for extension.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured ICT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum standards
* Promote a positive learning environment that supports student development
* Collaborate with a supportive department and contribute to the wider school community
The School:
* A small, rural secondary school with a strong sense of community
* High expectations of both staff and students, with a commitment to inclusive education
* Easily accessible from Richmond and surrounding villages by car
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Has recent experience teaching ICT or Computer Science at secondary level
* Possesses strong behaviour management and classroom engagement skills
* Is committed to fostering a love for learning and technology in young people
* Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
