Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential
Location: SK14 Hyde
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 + £50 per sleep-in
Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can thrive, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Working in a small 2-bed home, you’ll have the time and space to build meaningful relationships and deliver truly person-centred care.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting young people with their day-to-day routines, including school, activities, and appointments
* Leading shifts and providing guidance to support staff
* Ensuring high standards of care in line with regulations and company policies
* Promoting a therapeutic, child-centred approach
* Supporting the development, review, and implementation of care plans
* Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
* Encouraging independence, life skills, and personal development
* Completing accurate records and reports
* Creating a warm, stable, and homely environment
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 1 year experience in a children’s residential setting
* Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting or leading shifts
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A calm, resilient and nurturing approach
* Full UK driving licence (preferred/essential depending on role)
* Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off rota including sleep-ins
