Practising Privileges Coordinator | Full Time | Fixed Term Contract – 12 months | Leeds – LS8
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practising Privileges Coordinator to join the governance and administration team at Spire Leeds based in Roundhay. This is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months.
Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week
Duties and responsibilities
1. Chasing and retrieving mandatory documentation for consultants: Indemnity, Appraisal, DBS, ICO, GMC registrations & obtaining Paediatric training evidence for those with Paediatric permissions. This must be done with time restrictions enforced by Spire Healthcare.
2. Preparing consultants annual appraisal data and distributing to the individual consultant
3. Setting up SAP activation following HD & DOC’S sign off of permissions
4. Preparing reviews for the HD & DOC’S either annually or Bi-annually
5. Updating consultant information and contact details with on site teams and Central Spire.
6. Yearly review of active consultants for the yearly consultant survey across the 3 sites.
7. Anything else Spire Central request ie updates on cons handbook acceptance/ paediatric information retrospectively

8. Higher education
9. Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
10. Highly computer literate with advanced knowledge of MS Office
11. Excellent attention to detail
12. Effective communicator at all levels
13. Highly proactive, a strong team player with strong customer service ethic and good interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to work under own initiative with diplomacy, confidentiality and tact.
15. Commitment to continuous quality improvement
16. Experience of analysing and interpreting data and producing reports
17. Knowledge of risk management, health and safety and Care Quality Commission statutory requirements
