Overview
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We support individuals with a wide range of needs to live as independently as possible. This role is a 22 hour waking night position at St. James’s Court in Inverurie, requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday, including sleepover shifts.
Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, helping them achieve their personal goals and maintain quality of life.
* Provide daily living support including medication administration, cooking and home maintenance, and financial management support as needed.
* Support people with a range of activities they enjoy (e.g., walking football, walking rugby, bowling, discos, live music, visiting the local pub, gardening in a shared space).
* Build and maintain positive relationships with the people we support and their families, while remaining calm under pressure.
* Contribute to a safe and supportive home environment and adhere to training, PPE, and safeguarding requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Entry-level role with opportunities for ongoing professional development and progression.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across Monday–Sunday, including sleepovers.
* Willingness to work in a single-location setting; a driving requirement is not necessary for this role.
