Excellent Art Teacher to join a dynamic and ambitious Arts department
We are seeking an imaginative and dedicated Art Teacher to join a well-established and supportive secondary school in Southampton from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a school that values creative education and student expression. The Art department is well-equipped, with access to printmaking facilities, photography resources, digital tools, and specialist spaces for sculpture and painting. The successful candidate will be expected to foster creativity, develop student portfolios, and contribute to whole-school events such as exhibitions and art weeks.
Experience and Qualifications
• A degree in Art or a related subject with QTS
• Experience teaching Art across KS3–KS4 (A-Level experience desirable)
• Passionate about visual arts, with a strong creative portfolio
• Able to inspire and stretch learners of all abilities
• Right to work in the UK
