Reporting directly to the Traffic & Customs Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial facilitation of our global logistics operations.
This is a 12-month rolling contract offering a compelling chance to manage freight invoicing and service validation for one of the world's leading industrial brands.
You will be joining a close-knit team of four dedicated specialists within a wider office environment of approximately nine people.
Your Key Responsibilities Invoice Management: Facilitate and process freight invoices related to production material, ensuring they align with actual services provided and contract terms.
Data Analysis: Collate metrics and perform detailed analysis of shipping performance and freight expenditure.
Process Improvement: Focus on continuous improvement by completing '1PDs' to streamline shipping workflows.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Work closely with the Shipping team and various levels of the organization to achieve team objectives.
What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate a strong background in transportation accounting and high-level proficiency in data management.
Essential Experience & Skills: Advanced Excel Skills: You must be comfortable using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas for data analysis.
Industry Knowledge: At least one year of experience in transportation accounting, including a solid understanding of INCO terms and freight terms.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders. xxuwjjq
Administrative Excellence: High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Working Hours & Benefits Standard Hours: Monday
- Thursday (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm).
Friday Finish: Enjoy a shorter 5.5-hour shift on Fridays (starting at 7am or 8am).
