Overview
Project Administrator - 12 month FTC at PA Consulting. This role supports the Account Administrative team, working with the Consulting and GTM teams. The role is hybrid, with in‑office or on client site work and a minimum of two days per week on site.
Responsibilities
* Proactive monitoring of the weekly WIP and debt position for the projects supported, and provide timely invoicing assistance as needed.
* Monitor and maintain weekly metrics including weekly Job Not Set Up Hours and Unresolved Hours Monday to Thursday to ensure accurate weekly reporting.
* Accurate commercial filing and audit compliance.
* Managing the weekly Time Report Process.
* Opening and maintaining sold jobs in financial systems.
* Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
* Using client portals to upload and submit invoices and manage debt.
* Support Credit Control with debt chasing.
* Provide accountability to respond and report to government requirements within our secure sectors.
* Accurate financial reporting to Partners, Assignment Managers and Head of Sectors.
* Provide data and respond to Sales Executives and Senior Board members KPI s.
* Provide support to the wider team on ad hoc tasks.
Hybrid working: in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week; actual time spent and location will vary by role or assignment.
Qualifications
About You: To rise to the challenge this Project Administrator role brings, you will possess:
* A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience working in a finance team, with a desire to become an expert in organisational agility.
* Proficient financial acumen, numerical and administrative skills.
* Previous experience with PeopleSoft Projects or other corporate tools as well as strong Excel skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a creative-solution driven approach.
* Adaptable to change and able to operate at a high level during change processes.
* Numerate and able to analyse large amounts of data and figures.
* Sound business and commercial knowledge ideally gained in a services organisation.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to apply strong, critical thinking to help solve complex problems.
* Able to use initiative and work well under pressure without close supervision.
* This role requires working on secure client contracts, so you will need to have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
