EV Diagnostic Technician Required in Petersfield for High Tech / Future Thinking Car Garage
Pay: Circa £45k Basic DOE
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30pm M- with Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rota
Are you an experienced automotive technician seeking a new role with a progressive and forward-thinking garage?
We are looking for a highly skilled Service Technician or Mechanical Technician to join a cutting-edge automotive team based in Petersfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with a strong background in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to further develop their career within a dynamic environment.
Benefits:
1. 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
2. 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota basis, from 8.30am to 1pm

Duties:
6. Carry out Electric Vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
7. Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle faults
8. Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment to support repair work
9. Assist in the maintenance of workshop standards and health and safety procedures
10. Consultative approach to day to day working - helping other technicians and employees
11. Support team members with technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction
Individual spec:
12. Proven experience as a EV Diagnostic Technican or mechanic in a busy workshop setting
13. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to quickly identify faults
14. Relevant qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and Electric Vehicle / Hybrid system repairs
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Excellent organisational skills and a professional attitude
