You will be responsible for preparing precise chemical solutions and setting up complex physics and biology apparatus. Responsibilities
* Prepare precise molar solutions and microbiological media for senior-level practical experiments.
* Maintain the chemical inventory and ensure the safe disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with current legislation.
* Set up laboratory equipment daily across multiple venues, ensuring all safety checks are completed before students arrive.
* Assist in the maintenance of high-value scientific equipment, coordinating manufacturer inspections and repairs.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a technician or experience working within a classroom setting.
* Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
Salary £30,000 – £34,500 per annum.
