Salary – National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £43,100 to £50,266 and London from £47,300 to £55,166 (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

What will you be doing?
1. Developing all-source intelligence to identify threats to the UK financial services sector from serious organised crime
2. Conducting data analysis to generate new leads into instances of financial misconduct
3. Leading the delivery of intelligence analysis by managing complex casework targeting individuals and firms posing risks to consumer protection and market integrity
4. Advancing intelligence leads generated by other areas of the Intelligence Team and the Financial Conduct Authority
5. Producing and disseminating intelligence products such as profiles, reports and assessments, while handling sensitive intelligence appropriately
6. Collaborating across Intelligence teams to exploit sensitive sources, share ideas, develop analytical techniques and peer review colleagues’ work

Minimum
9. Experience of applying intelligence analysis techniques in line with the intelligence cycle to support strategic and operational decision-making
10. Experience of conducting targeted research and collection to develop subject profiles and inform stakeholder engagement
11. Experience of producing intelligence outputs that support risk identification and enhance understanding of threats within financial services
Essential
12. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex intelligence and communicate clear, well-reasoned conclusions in both written and verbal formats to support decision-making
13. Skilled in managing competing priorities and navigating risk and complexity with sound judgement and appropriate escalation
14. Strong understanding of the UK economic crime landscape and financial services, with working knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and data-sharing protocols
15. Proficient in using OSINT and SOCMINT tools to enhance intelligence insight, with awareness of ethical considerations and FCA guidance
16. Committed to the FCA’s mission by contributing to a regulatory culture focused on public good and consumer protection
17. Collaborative team member who values diverse perspectives, supports inclusion and works across departments to strengthen cohesion and remove barrier
