Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies
- Change bed linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred, however full training can be given
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
Skills:
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel operations, including housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in cleaning commercial spaces, such as offices or public areas is useful not compulsory.
