£30,559 - £34,314 per annum (Pay award pending)
Wychavon District Council is a forward-thinking local authority, committed to delivering high quality services to the communities it serves.The Property Services team covers all aspects of estate, maintenance, health, safety and facility management. A new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and hard working individual to join us on a permanent basis, to support the work of our small, friendly team.
This varied role will involve supporting the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager with a range of aspects of maintenance, facility management and health and safety compliance, to ensure the effective and efficient day to day operation of the council’s buildings.The postholder will be responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, monitoring maintenance and compliance activities and maintaining up to date and accurate evidence records. The successful candidate will require good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
About you
The successful candidate will:
* Hold a minimum of two ‘A’ levels or equivalent qualifications with a good level of numeracy and literacy skills
* Have proven experience in a facility management role
* Have theability to maintain accurate records for monitoring and reporting purposes
* Be experienced in the use of Microsoft products and Apps, in particular, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
* Have experience of procuring works and services, and monitoring and supervising contractors
* Be highly organised, with the ability to manage own workload and deadlines
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
