Profile
The Successful Applicant Should Have:
Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end public‑sector procurements, ideally under the Procurement Act 2023 or similar regulatory frameworks.
A strong grasp of procurement compliance, governance, transparency and audit requirements, with the ability to embed best practice across the organisation.
Excellent stakeholder‑management skills, with the confidence to advise, challenge, and guide colleagues at all levels.
Demonstrable experience in contract management, supplier performance monitoring, and driving continuous improvement.
The ability to interpret market trends and commercial insights, using them to shape smarter procurement strategies.
Strong communication and report‑writing abilities, capable of producing clear, accurate, and influential documentation.
High levels of integrity, attention to detail, and sound commercial judgement.
The ability to manage complex workloads and competing priorities, maintaining accuracy and professionalism under pressure.

Ideally, a relevant professional qualification such as MCIPS, or working toward Chartered status.
