We are now looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team and help lead our busy workshop and reception area.
About the Role Workshop Manager role:
This is a key leadership role within Mastertec. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop and front-of-house reception, ensuring that workflow is efficient, communication is smooth, and customers receive a high standard of care.
A strong background as a qualified Vehicle Technician is essential, as you will be supporting, guiding, and assisting our excellent team of technicians whenever required. This role also involves daily face-to-face interaction with customers, so confidence, professionalism, and clear communication are important.
Training and guidance will be provided to help you settle into the position.
Workshop Managers Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the workshop and reception
• Support, guide, and assist the technician team using your technical background
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service
• Plan, manage, and prioritise job flow to maintain efficiency
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer care are consistently met
• Contribute to a positive team culture and professional environment
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and staff as needed
Requirements
• Qualified Vehicle Technician with relevant industry experience
• Strong understanding of workshop processes and motor vehicle repair
• Confident communicating with customers face-to-face
• Positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and leadership capability
• Willingness to learn — full training and support will be provided
