We are seeking an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team and ensure the highest standards of care and education for all the children in our care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a clear vision for early years education and a genuine commitment to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for the children to thrive.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
Lead, mentor and manage our team of early years practitioner
Develop and implement effective policies, procedures and curriculum plans Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
Ensure high standards of health and safety, hygiene and wellbeing within the nursery
Manage nursery occupancy and staffing levels efficiently
Drive continuous improvement and uphold the nursery's ethos and values
Childcare qualification of level 6 or above OR Level 3 childcare qualification plus management
A minimum of 5 years experience in a day nursery setting or similar
Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures
A passion for early years education and a child-centred approach
