Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to develop, validate, and verify electrical components, (sub-)systems, and solutions of the Interventional Guided Therapy Systems (fixed interventional X-ray systems), as well as lead continuous improvements (CAPA) at R&D. You will work within an R&D multidisciplinary team on applying research results and technology advancements.
Your role
* Electronics and electrical design requirements, development, verification, reporting, and documentation.
* Ensuring design quality, reliability, and patient safety of our medical products and systems developed by Philips, including collaboration with suppliers and partners.
* Defining test strategies and plans, conducting testing, and reporting to comply with safety and EMC international standards and regulations.
* Leading, facilitating, and implementing Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA).
* Effective cooperation with teams and stakeholders.
* Aligning with other functions such as mechanical, mechatronics, norm compliance, test and validation, purchase, quality, etc.
* Supporting the co-creation, maintenance, and execution of the electronics and electrical team’s vision, mission, and strategy.
* Ensuring continuous improvement.
You're the right fit if
* Master's degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics engineering, or a related discipline.
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in a professional engineering environment.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the medical or other highly regulated industry.
* Experience and affinity with analog (capacitive) sensors and low-level analog signals.
* Broad knowledge spanning analog electronics, digital electronics, and software, with no discipline borders.
* High self-learning ability and eagerness to experiment and explore.
* Balanced theoretical and practical knowledge.
* Proficiency with measurement equipment and automation.
* Ability to use Python, LabVIEW, or similar languages.
* Experience in new product introduction and lifecycle development in the industry.
* Experience in electronics system design, validation, verification, quality, and improvement.
* Expertise in EPLAN and leadership of teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Good communication skills in English.
* Proactive, energetic, hands-on, and precise.
* Experience with SAFe is preferred.
