Job Description Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 18, 2026 Work set up: Hybrid Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Network Product Owner to lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise network security products within a global network services environment. This role will define and drive the network security product vision aligned with Zero Trust principles, organisational governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements. The successful candidate will combine strong product ownership capability with deep network security expertise, ensuring secure, fault-tolerant and scalable solutions across physical, virtual and cloud environments. What you will do: Define and communicate a clear network security product vision aligned with Zero Trust principles and governance frameworks. Manage and prioritise the network security product backlog based on risk assessment, business value and evolving threat landscape. Collaborate with security operations, infrastructure and compliance teams to align product delivery with regulatory requirements. Design and oversee secure, fault-tolerant enterprise-class distributed network security systems with business-facing APIs and web interfaces. Drive adoption and scaling of security capabilities across domains including Zero Trust Network Access, proxy services, Network Access Control, Next-Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS and SIEM integrations. Ensure successful integration of network security controls across physical, virtual and cloud environments. Model and document security policies, threat models and end-to-end security workflow specifications. Produce and maintain security architecture diagrams and governance documentation aligned with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls. Integrate DevSecOps tooling, GitOps practices and security-as-code into product workflows. Implement CI/CD pipelines for security policy deployment and infrastructure-as-code security scanning. Oversee integration with cloud-native security services including CASB, SASE, identity federation and cloud IAM platforms. Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001/27002, PCI-DSS and SOC 2. Apply ITIL principles for security incident, problem and risk management. Utilise Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to manage delivery using tools such as Jira and Confluence. Track and report security-focused SRE metrics including MTTD, MTTR, remediation timelines, deployment frequency and security control effectiveness.
