<div><h3>Hours</h3><p>Part time - 20 to 25 hours per week (days/hours by agreement) - potential for full time as care packages increase</p><h3>Location</h3><p>Harrogate Business Centre, Hammerain House, Hookstone Avenue, Harrogate, HG2 8ER (with some travel for spot checks/visits as required)</p><h3>Salary</h3><p>£12,750 per annum (pro rata)</p><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>To support the coordination of high-quality, person‑centred domiciliary care services, ensuring efficient scheduling, communication between staff, service users and families, and maintaining accurate records in line with CQC standards.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Plan, create and manage care worker rotas using electronic rostering system ensuring continuity of care and appropriate skill matching</li><li>Respond promptly to schedule changes, staff absences and emergency cover requirements</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for service users, families and care staff regarding day‑to‑day queries</li><li>Support onboarding of new care workers, including coordination of training via Atlas (Citation)</li><li>Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records including care plans, risk assessments and visit logs</li><li>Monitor timely completion of care notes and flag concerns to the Registered Manager</li><li>Assist with quality monitoring, spot checks and compliance documentation</li><li>Support recruitment administration as required (interview scheduling, reference checks)</li><li>Liaise with North Yorkshire Council and other commissioners regarding care package updates</li></ul><h3>Person Specification – Essential</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a care coordination, scheduling or administrative role within health/social care</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>IT literate, comfortable with care management software</li><li>Understanding of CQC regulations and person‑centred care principles</li><li>Flexible and able to respond to urgent situations</li><li>Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)</li></ul><h3>Person Specification – Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience using electronic rostering systems</li><li>NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care</li><li>Knowledge of safeguarding procedures</li></ul><h3>Other Requirements</h3><ul><li>Occasional flexibility for early/late or weekend cover as needed</li><li>Commitment to AJEB Healthcares values of dignity, respect and quality care</li></ul></div>
