Digital Trainer–Assessor – Digital Services Team
We’re looking for a dynamic Digital Trainer–Assessor to deliver engaging digital learning sessions, assess learner progress, and design curriculum within the Digital Services Team. The role reports to the Route Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Workshop Delivery (3 days per week)
o Deliver dynamic digital workshops across Digital Services.
o Facilitate inclusive learning environments.
o Embed Prevent, safeguarding, E&D and wellbeing into training.
* Caseload Management (2 days per week)
o Assess learners against qualification standards.
o Mark, provide feedback, and maintain individual learning plans.
o Conduct reviews and support ALN needs.
* Curriculum Design
o Create and refresh workshop materials.
o Collaborate on programme design.
* Quality, Compliance & Learner Journey
o Meet Welsh Government, Estyn and awarding‑body standards.
o Record learner progress accurately.
o Complete WEST, scorecards, and induction activities.
Qualifications & Knowledge
* Experience delivering training or coaching.
* Strong coaching, mentoring and digital capability.
* Track record of learner outcomes and curriculum design experience.
* Understanding of safeguarding, ALN, E&D and wellbeing.
* Knowledge of apprenticeship delivery structures.
* Assessor qualification (or willingness to complete) and teaching/training qualification or equivalent.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Salary & Grading
Grade 6: £30,174 rising to £33,465. Assessor with no qualifications: £29,174.
Additional qualification uplift: Level 4+ digital subject +£1,000 per annum; Level 7+ digital subject +£2,000 per annum.
