Our bespoke and seasonal menus take inspiration from personal experiences and the best of America encompassing the colourful array of cultural influences from across the States. We use traditional, time honoured American cooking techniques with carefully crafted recipes. We focus on only the highest quality food & drink and work closely with suppliers to provide the best quality ingredients, either local or specially imported all the way from the USA.

We are looking for Servers and Bartenders to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate loves good food and drink, and is committed to going above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service, you'll also have previous restaurant or front of house service experience.
You should be able to handle customer enquiries with ease, selling the Smoke & Rye experience to our guests. To deliver the best service you'll need to be fast paced, efficient, kind, helpful and completely charming.
Job Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Is all about multi-tasking, whilst ensuring every interaction with guests is a great one from the moment they step through the door to the moment they leave. Our servers are very well versed in our food and drink and help guests with ease to select menu items and make great recommendations perfect for their tastebuds. Our guests' favourite part about coming to Smoke & Rye is when that picture perfect plate of food hits the table in front of them and our Servers are there to make sure they have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
* Team Player: Work closely with your front of house team members including servers and bartenders, to ensure exceptional service and a positive dining experience for all guests.
* Housekeeping: Keeping a clean and organised work area, including tables, chairs, service stations, customer toilets and customer facing areas.
* Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, managing the flow of orders, and communicating effectively with all team members.
* Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that all front-of-house practices comply with our 5* food hygiene standards.
What You'll Get Up To
As a Server at Smoke & Rye, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional level of restaurant style service which matches our relaxed lively atmosphere but remains attentive but not overbearing; and seamless from start to finish.
Your typical day for a Server at Smoke & Rye involves hands on customer service, interacting with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, processing payments and ensuring they have everything they need during their visit; with some housekeeping duties keeping a clean and organised front of house environment. This is a part time position and includes late evenings, weekends and holidays. You'll also have the opportunity for flexible working hours

* This is a part-time position that includes late evenings and weekend shifts.
* The position is not suitable for under 16s due to late working hours and requirements of the role.
* Pay depending on experience.
* All positions come with a 3 month training period and performance based pay review after 6 months of service.
