BDO Audit team seeks experienced professionals to support high‑quality, transparent audit work that benefits the public interest and strengthens businesses across the UK and internationally.
Candidate will work independently and collaborate across levels, communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors and Partners, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Identify risk matters and raise with managers or partners while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
* Understand the needs of the Audited Entity, propose solutions on technical matters and agree these with Managers or Partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established Audited Entities, identifying opportunities and serving as a year‑long point of contact.
* Conduct rigorous project and financial management for all engagements, completing projects on time and raising issues promptly.
* Hold an ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent, with working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and other financial reporting requirements.
* Possess working knowledge of financial products, firm services, advice issues, regulation and compliance, including anti‑money laundering.
* Demonstrate awareness of current economic and market trends.
* Supervise and coach junior team members.
* Manage projects.
