Responsibilities
* Act as the Responsible Pharmacist overseeing all pharmacy operations
* Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory requirements
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians
* Provide subject matter expertise to business projects and audits
* Oversee the safe and accurate dispensing of medications
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive service excellence
What a Typical Day Looks Like
* Leading the shift team, ensuring smooth operations
* Reviewing and checking prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
* Supporting technical training and mentoring staff
* Liaising with internal teams (e.g., QA, compounding, customer services)
* Managing performance and supporting development plans

About You
* GPhC-registered Pharmacist with Independent Prescribing qualification
* Proven experience in a senior or team leadership role
* Independent Prescriber with practical experience
* Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance
* Ability to manage high-pressure situations and maintain composure
* Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
* Be part of a pharmacy-led business with clear progression pathways
