Starting September 2026, you will be part of a 12‑month industry placement with the Environment Agency. The placement offers hands‑on experience across our Regulated Industry teams, working with UK businesses to reduce environmental impacts and improve process safety.

Job Description – Experience During Placement
* Data management and analysis
* Environmental regulation and compliance

Experience / Skills Required
You should be studying (or have studied) a Chemical or Process Engineering degree accredited by IChemE.
* Team working
* Confidence with data
* Problem‑solving
* Engineering knowledge
* Health and safety awareness
Experience can come from volunteering, sports teams, or social clubs.
Eligibility Criteria
* UK, Commonwealth, or EEA national with right to work in the UK.
* Enrolled in an undergraduate degree, or an integrated master’s programme, in your penultimate year of study, or have graduated within the last year (from June 2025 onwards).
