Role
The purpose of the role is to carry out electrical installation testing in our customer’s properties, and produce reports to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment.
* Carry out periodic inspections of clients’ electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
* Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC)
* Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
* Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
* Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry
* Complete follow‑on remedial works, where required
The successful candidate will have
* City & Guilds NVQ level 3
* City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5
* City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential
* Experience delivering high levels of customer service
* The ability to work with a diverse customer base
