Job Description
* Working as part of a tight regional leadership team to guide the business through a period of transformation.
* Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making.
* Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
* Lead the financial planning and analysis function to support business growth and strategic goals.
* Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Drive initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
* Lead and develop the Accounting & Finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Director should have:
* Extensive experience in financial management within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry or a related sector.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in achieving financial objectives.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
* Expertise in financial systems, compliance, and reporting standards.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
