Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experiencedCDP to join our team. As a CDP, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills:
* Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
* Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
* Strong understanding of food safety practices
* Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume setting
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
