We are currently seeking professional, experienced, and qualified Lingala Interpreters for freelance opportunities in Frimley and the surrounding area. As a self-employed interpreter, you will be responsible for your own National Insurance contributions and tax, and you must hold a valid DBS certificate.

Scope of Work
To provide face-to-face or remote interpreting services for Local Authorities council departments, social services and housing benefit as well as for other public and private sector organisations, including the NHS.
All applicants will be subject to our recruitment and selection process. You must only apply if you are allowed to work in the UK, and can provide proof of ID, address, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality interpreting services (face-to-face or remote) for public and private sector clients, including Local Authorities, NHS, and other organisations.
* Maintain professional conduct, accuracy, confidentiality, and impartiality in all assignments.
* Manage schedules, assignments, and client communications in coordination with the agency.
* Adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements (e.g., DBS where applicable).
Qualifications & Requirements
* Professional Lingala interpretation experience and/or accreditation as applicable.
* Self-employed freelancer with the ability to manage National Insurance contributions and tax.
* Valid DBS certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
* Eligible to work in the UK with proof of identity, address, qualifications, and experience.
