IT Systems Access Analyst
Salary: c. £24,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Head Office (Hybrid Working)
The West Brom are looking to recruit a IT Systems Access Analyst on a permanent contract. The successful individual will administer user access to the Society’s systems to support the effective running of the Society’s computer systems, thus maintaining systems user security.
Key responsibilities are:
1. Administration of Identity and Access Systems, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
2. Maintain Exchange tasks including Mailboxes and Distribution lists.
3. Provide system access control administration tasks such as user set up, amendments and deletions.
4. Provide and maintain Application systems access levels, permissions and privileges.
5. It is very important that the work is accurate due to the levels of access to the societies systems as any administrative error could result in drastic consequences.
6. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of procedures and system documentation.
7. Provide effective and positive customer focused support at all times.
8. Ensure Requests are completed within agreed Service Levels Agreements (SLA’s) which may require prioritising requests as appropriate to business needs.
9. Assist in project work and must be capable of organising his/her workload according to agreed project plans.
10. Assist in user and system access reviews including Job Role Matrix; conducting meetings where required.
11. Assist with internal and external audits.
12. Providing any other systems access tasks as required.
13. Work as a team to continuously improve systems access provision.
14. Investigate and determine root cause of issues that arise within the team.
15. Manage workload in the IT Service Management Tool.
16. Risk Awareness and highlighting and mitigating risk.
17. Make every attempt to turn unhappy customers into satisfied customers.
18. Drive and maintain Role based access.
The skills and experience required are:
19. Must be able to follow instructions well and have the ability to learn new technical concepts.
20. Skills and knowledge using Active Directory tools.
21. Must frequently amend system rules and understand the impact of such changes.
22. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of explaining simple procedures in writing or verbally with all levels of management and staff; good phone skills.
23. Should be capable of managing daily workload, balancing the need to support the live business environment against demands placed on them by development, test, and project teams.
24. A strong commitment to continuous process improvement and customer service.
25. Must be a strong team player and able to work proactively.
26. Have high work ethics and standards.
