We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Employee Relations and Policy to join the BBC HR ER and Policy team. This strategic role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of employee relations and policy strategies, ensuring they align with the BBC’s overall objectives, strategy and values.
Act as a senior member of the BBC’s ER and Policy team, providing strategic direction and support around policy, industrial and employee relations to the wider HR team and senior leadership. • Develop and implement effective ER and policy strategies to promote a positive and productive working environment. • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including trade unions, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies. • Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring effective engagement with employees and trade unions.
Proven experience in senior IR, ER and policy development, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and industrial relations practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
