Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian based at Ailsa Hospital.
What you will do:
An opportunity has arisen to join our community team of Dietitians and Assistant Practitioners who cover South Ayrshire. Nutritional care is provided to GP Practice clinics, associated domiciliary visits and local Care Homes.
You should possess the necessary knowledge and skills to provide a generalist clinical service, deliver education & training for the multi-disciplinary team and condition related groups. In addition you will support uni-professional and Paramedic practice placements.
The team are currently considering our model and how we can provide a quality assured service that meets the needs of our communities. This means you can also help shape our future service.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
* Degree/Post-grad Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics
* Registered Dietitian (HCPC)
* Can demonstrate a range & depth of experience, competence & skills in a variety of conditions & settings particularly stroke rehabilitation
* Knowledge of relevant National Clinical & Professional Strategies/Standards & Guidelines
Hours: up to 37 hours per week
Whilst the Team are currently based in Ailsa Hospital there is a potential move of base to Prestwick in the coming months. There is also some opportunity for working from home and consideration of flexible working.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
