Paint & Prep Technician Citygate Prep Centre, Slough 37.5 hour week - 3 Days per Week 12.5 hour shifts, rotating £40,000 basic plus uncapped bonus Permanent Role overview We are looking for a Paint and Prep Technician to carry out all Bodyshop work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet the business requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity Key responsibilities Your key responsibilities as a Paint and Prep Technician will be: To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of motor vehicles Fulfil all tasks to the customers complete satisfaction Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs Coach and support apprentice technicians Attend specialised training as required internal and manufacturer requirements Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date Contribute to local and companywide process improvements and innovations Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable Whats in it for you?
