This 8‑month fixed‑term contract is with the Talent Acquisition Team (Experienced Hires) within the Bank’s People Strategy & Insights function. The team shapes the candidate and hiring manager experience by identifying, attracting, and hiring talent through internal mobility and external hiring strategies.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead internal mobility activity and related administration, ensuring a smooth, compliant experience for redeployed colleagues.
- Lead recruitment‑related projects, supporting hiring improvements and enhancing manager and colleague experience.
- Use judgment and initiative independently or as part of a team, thinking creatively to solve complex problems.
- Keep the Talent Acquisition Manager updated on project progress, risks and issues.
- Manage key competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong organisation and detail orientation.
- Identify and implement process improvements, reducing complexity and simplifying operations.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely data updates.
- Manage day‑to‑day relations with the Bank’s contractor supplier, ensuring standards are met.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience delivering recruitment, talent or HR work with clear outcomes.
- Demonstrated planning, prioritisation and multi‑project management to agreed deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with evidence of clear and effective communication with different audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to apply sound judgement and to escalated issues with suggested actions.
- Experience working within internal policies and processes, handling sensitive matters discreetly.
- A recognised project management qualification or strong project‑management experience.

Salary and Benefits
- London salary: £51,440 – £57,870 (depending on skills and experience)
- Leeds salary: £46,320 – £52,110 (depending on skills and experience)
- Non‑contributory, career‑average pension (1/80th of annual salary per year worked, with options to change accrual).
