HR Assistant - Antrim, Banbridge, Craigavon
Are you passionate about people and ready to make an immediate impact on workplace experiences? We’re seeking an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join a busy, multi-site business on an initial temporary basis. This role offers the chance to support all aspects of HR, helping to deliver efficient processes and a positive employee journey across the organisation.
The Role
As an HR Assistant, you’ll be a key member of the HR team, supporting day-to-day operations and working closely with wider teams. Collaborating with managers, you’ll help maintain smooth processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive, people-focused culture.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
* Lead onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
* Prepare, issue, and maintain employment contracts and related documentation.
* Ensure employee records and HR systems are accurate and up to date.
* Assist with compliance monitoring and health & safety initiatives.
* Coordinate internal and external training sessions and maintain training records.
* Support audits, reporting, and HR-related documentation.
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR, Compliance and legal functions.
* Respond to employee queries and provide guidance in line with company policies.
About You
* Previous experience in an HR or recruitment role
* Good understanding of HR processes and systems.
* CIPD qualified or relevant HR/Business degree.
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and adaptable.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
