About the Role
We are a fast-growing property group providing shared housing for students and professionals across Oxford. We are hiring a reliable and organised Property Assistant to support our portfolio on a flexible, part-time basis.
This role is hands-on: you'll be the person we call when something needs to be done at a property. From checking houses before tenants move in, to meeting contractors, to managing keys and lockboxes - you'll be our on-the-ground support. On quieter days, you'll also assist remotely with light admin tasks like CRM updates, rota coordination, or simple property paperwork.
We're looking for someone dependable, mobile around Oxford, and comfortable stepping into any property-related task with short notice.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit properties for inspections, move-ins, move-outs, or viewings
* Ensure houses are clean, presentable, and ready for tenants or agents
* Coordinate and check work of cleaners and tradespeople (plumbers, handymen, etc.)
* Handle keys: collection, duplication, lockbox setup, and secure handover
* Support viewing agents by preparing properties and solving on-the-day issues
* Track and confirm shifts for viewing agents and contractors
* Capture property photos/videos when needed
* Assist with onboarding new houses (inventories, condition checks, walk-throughs)
* Update CRM records and reports, chase tenancy follow-ups, or manage contractor invoices when required
Who This Role Suits
* Someone living in or near Oxford who knows the area well
* Past experience in lettings, housing, or property management is useful but not essential
* A dependable organiser who can take ownership and work without micromanagement
* Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, and simple online systems
