Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START) provides short-term support to individuals in their own homes. The service operates 365 days a year from 7am to 10pm, with a rolling 4 days on/4 days off shift pattern, including weekends, days, evenings, Bank Holidays, and split shifts, depending on contracted hours. Flexibility and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential to support adults in increasing their independence and confidence at home.
The role offers competitive pay, with rates up to £12.26 an hour, flexible hours, training, a supportive environment, generous holidays, and an excellent pension scheme.
Applicants need a full driving license and access to a car, with mileage paid. Experience in social care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
