Lecturer in Games & Media Location: Access Creative College Norwich, NR3 1JD Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £23,810-£25,157 per annum About the Role Working with the Assistant Head of Curriculum, you’ll help deliver and develop our Digital Media curriculum at our Centre in Norwich. The successful candidate will be inspirational in their teaching methods, meeting our learners' needs by sharing their knowledge and experience with them, and becoming a role model. The postholder must help our learners to connect their education with their future careers in the industry. The role involves working at the core of the student experience, coordinating resources and managing student activities as well as developing industry links and course marketing. What we’re looking for: Experience working within the creative media industry, or maybe you’re a recent graduate with a relevant degree Theoretical knowledge across the broad spectrum of games, for example, job roles and skills, world-building, and story progression. Experienced in digital audio/video, cinematography, photography and video editing and you’ll be familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar applications Excellent communication and organisational skills which will help you to effectively manage the creation of stellar Schemes of Work and session plans leading to the delivery of high-quality lessons to our learners. These skills will also help you to organise internal and external examination/assessment-related administration including the moderation and verification of coursework and internal course assessments.
