At Stericycle, our Outbound Sales Representatives are at the forefront of our mission to Protect What Matters. In this role you'll be focused on Business-to-Business sales every day. This is far from a call centre, this is a commercial sales office and you will be the first voice prospective clients hear.
Your role will see you making the most of our database to source and develop your own sales leads. You'll qualify these leads by making inquisitive calls and sending out your own style of mailers to these clients. You'll talk to businesses about their waste requirements and put together bespoke proposals on how we can support, ultimately ending in closing the deal and turning that prospect into a spending account.
We deal in waste compliance solutions, that means the disposal and recycling of clinical waste and supporting businesses in effective policy and process solutions. It's a necessary part of the supply chain for hospitals, labs, dentists, tattoo artists, and private healthcare settings amongst many others and as such, you'll be a key member of our commercial team.
Key responsibilities
* Using SalesForce (our CRM) you'll make outbound calls to prospective businesses, to drive new customer acquisition growth. That's successfully converting leads into customers.
* You'll sell our suite of Regulated Waste & Compliance Services by discovering needs, making recommendations, and providing bespoke solutions to business up and down the country.
* Manage a pipeline of prospects to build future sales through customer relationship building and by maintaining an awareness of changes in the market.

* You'll be commercially aware, that means having the ability to think on your feet and deliver a profitable proposal to a customer that meets internal guidelines. (you'll get training on this)
* You'll be empowered to drive cost of revenue and margins so understanding "the how" is necessary.
* You'll have targets to achieve, so being focused on them will be key to your ongoing success.
* Being organised and self-aware is essential Following up on leads, understanding what a good lead looks like, and being consistently forward thinking in planning your day/week/month ahead is vital.
How you'll demonstrate your ability
* You'll have a proven track record of commercial success. (This could be in a sales consultant role (or similar) or another role or experience that shows this).
* You'll ideally have experience in B2B sales or strong B2C success, but success comes in different forms, if you're passionate and driven for a career in sales, we want to hear from you.
