About the school:

They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager committed to providing a highly effective and efficient administrative function to their stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their experience across a range of finance areas.
The position requires full time availability, 35 hours per week, 08:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Following are some of the responsibilities for this role:
* To maintain systems to facilitate effective financial control within the school
* To assist in the preparation of budgets
* To facilitate the payment of authorised invoices
* Maintain the school's financial and accountancy systems
* Liaise with the school's payroll provider regarding the correct payment of staff salaries, including the administration of claims for travel and overtime
* Ensure that the school obtains best possible value for money from suppliers and contractors
* Manage school fund account, ensuring all income is accurately accounted for and receipts given for cash

Main requirements to get cleared for this role:
* Experience of finance and administration in a similar school sector environment
* A sound knowledge of financial management and accounting procedures
* Ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload to meet deadlines whilst
* ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date
* Competence in standard office software (Word, Outlook and Excel) essential
* Ability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels
* Eligibility to work in the UK - this is essential
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
* 2 proven relevant experience
