Job Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts. Acting as the key point of contact for customers, you will support the Head of Sales – IMEA to grow your area and coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent service and support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Proactively manage and develop relationships with allocated accounts
* Manage the sales pipeline from lead, opportunity, negotiation and close via CRM, including preparing quotes
* Generate and qualify new business opportunities to achieve sales growth
* Meet and exceed set sales targets as agreed with the Head of Sales – UK and Europe
* Via Palintest academy training, provide product information and technical support up to tier 2
* Partake in any reasonable training necessary to support the role
* Prepare account action plans for each focus account
* Track and report on individual KPIs and prepare monthly reports and sales presentations when required
* Undertake additional duties as requested by the Head of Sales – IMEA
Person Specification
You will be a highly motivated, driven individual with a commitment to succeed. You will contribute to the growth and success of our business through your skills and experience, and you will have:
* Experience working as an Account Manager within a focused growth mindset
* Experience with technical products with the ability to understand the product range and its applications and communicate this to our customers
* A positive and goal-orientated mindset with a desire to grow sales within their area
* Effective communication skills to build strong partnerships with our customers and confidence on teams, phone and by email
* A curious and quick learner mindset
* Good computer literacy with knowledge of Office 365 and CRM systems as an advantage
* A can-do attitude and not be afraid to take on new projects
* A real desire for continuous improvement of self and the company
