You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic tax planning advice to support investment activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy while optimising tax efficiency for the company and its investment interests. Key responsibilities : Accounts Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present consolidated management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis for multiple entities; presentation of management accounts to senior management, working closely with senior management. Statutory accounts preparation statutory accounts for unaudited companies and liaise with auditors ref the preparation and filing of audited companies., Oversee bank reporting, audits and liaison with property managers and investment managers and financial institutions. Personal Tax Compliance: Drafting personal tax returns and self-assessment returns and liaise with HMRC re payments and credits. UK, Liaise with Tax advisers re personal tax returns for ROI, US, Spain Company Tax complianceLiaise with Tax consultants re corporation tax, Payments on account. Manage CT payments for 30+ companies. VAT Support: Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and provide VAT compliance support. Cloud Accounting: Be able to use modern software, including Xero and QuickBooks. Provide performance reporting on investments and assets. Manage investment accounting for property. Improve financial infrastructure and systems. Manage cash flows Assistwith personal and corporate Tax Planning Oversee Paye Person Specification Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or working towards certification. Strong understanding of corporate tax regulations and accounting standards. Experience in tax compliance, financial reporting, or investment accounting.
