Responsibilities
* Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
* Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
* Provide friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
* Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
* Handle queries within competence and escalations when needed.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all SOPs.
* Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
* Support promotional activities and company initiatives.
Qualifications
* Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
* A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions.
* The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured.
* The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, supporting them with OTC product guidance, prescription queries, or when to refer to the pharmacist for expert advice.
Pay & Hours
Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks notice of your shifts.
