Account Executive, LE, GBS
Join Gartner’s growing Supply Chain practice as an Account Executive (LE, GBS). You will partner with Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) and large enterprise clients to drive growth in a cost‑constrained, increasingly complex environment.
What you’ll do
* Manage a portfolio of 10–20 large enterprise accounts, achieving a quota of approximately $1.2m USD in contract value.
* Retain and expand existing client relationships through upsell and cross‑sell of Gartner services.
* Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales VP, and Subject Matter Experts to align on high‑value engagements and renewal strategies.
* Conduct a series of annual client meetings to review ROI, realign priorities, and secure renewals.
* Drive outbound activities to generate a consistent pipeline of new opportunities.
* Partner with C‑level executives to develop and execute enterprise‑wide strategies.
* Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
* Share best practices, contribute to team collaboration, and model a positive culture.
What you’ll need
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible environments.
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Experience selling to or influencing C‑level executives.
* Strong ability to precisely manage and forecast complex sales cycles.
* Willingness to travel EMEA‑wide as required.
Progression within Account Executive Roles
* Regular monthly review and plan session with manager to discuss progression goals.
* Typical internal promotions include Senior Account Executive, Team Lead, and Sales Manager.
* All Sales Managers and Team Leads are hired internally as part of our progression path.
