SMT Operator – Assembleon Topaz Experience Preferred
We are looking for a skilled SMT Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. If you have hands-on experience running an Assembleon Topaz (or similar SMT pick‑and‑place equipment), we’d love to hear from you, in-house training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and maintain SMT production lines
* Run and troubleshoot Assembleon Topaz machines (experience highly desirable)
* Perform feeder setup, loading, and verification
* Conduct first-off inspections and ensure product quality throughout the build
* Monitor line performance and resolve issues to minimise downtime
* Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams
* Follow manufacturing documentation, build packs, and IPC standards
What We’re Looking For
* Previous SMT operating experience (Topaz experience is a strong advantage)
* Good understanding of component identification and PCB assembly processes
* Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing instructions
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Proactive approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 2x 15-minute break & 1x 30-minute lunch,
Friday 08:00 – 13:00 1x 15-minute break.
Overtime is optional.
Nest Pension Scheme 8% contribution.
Must have right to work in UK.
