Night Shift HGV Technician opportunity in Kidderminster
1. Location: Kidderminster
2. Salary: £46,000
3. Overtime: Time and a Half
4. Hours: Monday to Thursday – 21:30 – 08:00
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Night Shift Technician to join a professional HGV workshop team in Kidderminster. This role would suit a qualified technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills who takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a supportive team environment.

What you’ll be doing:
12. Carrying out major and minor vehicle repairs
13. Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
14. Diagnosing faults and planning vehicle repairs
15. Maintaining accurate workshop and repair records
16. Supporting workshop cleanliness and stock control
17. Completing warranty paperwork and relevant documentation
18. Assisting with roadside breakdown support when required
19. Supporting and mentoring trainees within the workshop
What we’re looking for:
20. Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair & Maintenance (NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds)
21. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
22. Experience carrying out HGV repairs and servicing
23. Knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
24. Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
25. A team-focused attitude with strong attention to detail
