We are looking for an exceptional Retail Sales and Operations Manager to lead our team in the Birmingham territory. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with a can‑do attitude, proactive and positive. They will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and living the “good fashioned service” ethic to make a difference in our customers’ lives.

Costs of Local Distribution (COLD)
* Deliver the agreed target for COLD within the local depot.
* Focus relentlessly on labour, vehicle, depot and local marketing costs.
* Review monthly performance with the Regional Manager.
* Execute agreed actions to keep the depot on target.
Growing Sales
* Implement national campaign activities for new and existing customers.
* Execute all CRM activities.
* Lead local growth initiatives (e.g., sheltered housing, CSA training) to meet agreed targets.
Community Engagement
* Engage and immerse the team within the local community.
* Build relationships with community organisations, local hospitals and healthcare professionals.
Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities
* Build exceptional customer relationships.
* Deliver sales and profitability targets; set high service standards.
* Lead a team, creating an engaged culture and developing potential.
* Interpret data to identify key levers for success.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Abilities
* Retail, care, hospitality or own business experience.
* Experience implementing Health & Safety processes.
* Experience managing employee consultation and driving change initiatives.
Qualifications
* GCSE or equivalent Maths and English.
Must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years. All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks and basic DBS checks.
