We are looking for an exceptional individual with Technical support experience in the fields of Electronics or Electrics. (THIS IS NOT AN IT SOFTWARE SUPPORT ROLE) We are a recently established Automated access company providing motors and accessories to the electric gate industry. The successful candidate will need, along with some Experience of electronic control equipment, a great telephone manner, a can do attitude and a real desire to help solve customer technical issues and provide product selection advice. You must be in easily commutable distance of Glenfield, and as this role would be a key holder position, preferably with your own means of transport you will also have some experience in a customer contact role, be physically fit and have a great disposition that will fit perfectly in our friendly working environment. As we are a small but growing company, we all turn our hands to whatever task is pressing like order picking, so some heavy lifting may be required on occasion, therefore you would need to be fit and strong and have an eye for detail. As one of the front line personnel of the company you would be taking both sales and technical calls which will range from simple order taking calls to more complex on site technical issues which from time to time can be frustrating for the customer and therefore a helpful attitude and thick skin are helpful. As much of our business is repeat business, your great telephone support would generate great working relationships with the customers too. This role is very much a ground floor position but with a growing company, great opportunities will present themselves in the future for career development. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8.30 - 17.00 with an hour for lunch.
