KS2 Primary Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

£600 – £810 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
September 2026 – December 2026
The School and Role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in Gateshead (NE8) from September 2026. Working in school until December, the KS2 Teacher appointed for the role will be covering a Year 5 class, where pupils have differing levels of attainment. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is a slightly-larger-than-average primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
