We are looking for a proactive, caring, compassionate person to join our Active Living Team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work within various sectors of our company. Successful candidates will be required to move between providing breaks for unpaid carers in their homes and supporting our team in the Day Centre or with the weekly groups.
This is a flexible role and, because of this, we are looking for a candidate who can work 25 hours per week and must be available, Monday to Friday along with one Saturday each month (this will be counted as additional hours). You will be working in different locations each day so need to be flexible with your working hours as working times will depend on where you are working on the day.
As an Active Living Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting unpaid carers with respite breaks
* Support with organised group activities for people with care needs
* When required, to plan and deliver a bespoke Active Living service, using the care plan as guidance.
* Assist clients to the bathroom and with other general care needs.
* During the activity, to assist those clients participate in their chosen activity.
* To support the person with care needs with activities outside their home, for example, community activities, shopping or attending medical appointments.
* To assist with mobility, prepare meals and drinks and/or to help with eating / drinking and to support the person with care needs with their medication.

No previous experience is required, as a fully paid induction will be given.
Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle is required for this role.
